Presiding Judge at the Regional Court Peter Wunsch, LL.M.
Peter Wunsch has been a judge in Hamburg since 2003. After a secondment at the German Federal Court of Justice, Wunsch worked from 2018 to 2025 at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg as well as judge at the Hamburg Lawyers' Court. Since 2024, he is also chairing a chamber for commercial matters at the Regional Court of Hamburg. Before becoming a judge, Wunsch worked in a major international law firm with a focus on corporate law.
Regional Court Judge Dr Kirsten Forsblad
Dr Kirsten Forsblad has been working as a judge in Hamburg since 2009. Before joining the Hamburg judiciary, Dr Forsblad worked in the private sector. After working as a lawyer in New York and Hamburg, she initally worked in the banking sector as an authorised signatory for corporate structuring and IPOs and then as head of the legal department and authorized signatory in a listed financial services company. She is a trained mediator.
Regional Court Judge J. Kemper
J. Kemper has served as a judge in Hamburg since 2015, following several years of practice as a lawyer at a U.S. law firm with a focus on intellectual property and litigation. In 2025, he was seconded to the 7th Senate of the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg, where he handled, inter alia, claims relating to data protection and publications in the media. Mr. Kemper currently serves as the deputy presiding judge of the chamber for press-related claims at the Regional Court of Hamburg
Regional Court Judge Dr Jakob Gleim
Dr Jakob Gleim joined the Hamburg judiciary as a judge in 2019. Through his work in the fields of Intellectual Property and Unfair Competition law, he has gained extensive experience in handling complex international disputes. Prior to joining the judiciary, he was a research assistant at the Max-Planck-Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. His working languages are German and English, and he is fluent in French and Italian.
Judge Rick Termer, LL.M. (Glasgow)
Rick Termer became a judge in Hamburg in March 2024. He first served at the judicial office of the Authority for Justice and Consumer Protection before joining Civil Division 6 at the Regional Court of Hamburg. Prior to his judicial appointment, he worked for two years as a lawyer in dispute resolution at an international law firm. He holds an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from the University of Glasgow.
